Builder Highlights:

William "Bill" Brice of WATAB Construction Corp. is one of the original builders from the first Homearama in 1982. His many awards include Critics' Choice Best Home in Show gold award; Peoples' Choice Favorite Home silver award and the Hampton Roads Realtors Association Most Livable Home award. Bill's homes have also taken honors in Best Landscaping and Best Deck. He has also won several The Virginian-Pilot Reader's Choice awards. Best Dining Room, Best Kitchen.

In 2004 he built two award-winning Homearama entries, The Norfolk House, sponsored by the city of Norfolk, and The Charity House, which benefited Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.

Bill has owned and operated WATAB Construction Corp. since 1976, after serving in Vietnam in the United States Air Force. Bill averages between five to eight houses per year.
