Who doesn’t love a wedding?

Most people associate weddings with summer months and June brides, but Margaret Schoch of Unique Elegance associates weddings with the fall and Homearama.

Celebrating her own 16th anniversary to husband Jack on Oct. 17, Margaret is preparing for another wedding, this one to be hosted in her and Jack’s 2008 Homearama home, appropriately named The Monarch Bank Wedding House.

The big day will be during Homearama, when a lucky local military couple will take their vows on the front porch of the gorgeous 6,000-square-foot transitional-style home and celebrate with a reception inside with their friends and family.

This is the Schoch’s third wedding-themed home for the annual showcase – the first being in 2002. That year, after hosting a wedding for another local military couple, Jack & Margaret renewed their own vows for their 10th anniversary. Their 2003 Homearama home also featured a wedding.

Throughout the duration of the show, the home will be adorned with wedding décor and ready to host a stylish ceremony. From the elegant bridal and attendant gowns in the master suite to a beautiful wedding cake and gifts in the dining room, local vendors are providing many of the accouterments to be on display during the two-week event and for the wedding ceremony itself.
