Infusing your home with the flare of a professional designer may not be in the budget, but thanks to the experts behind the fully furnished Homearama homes, it could be yours at a fraction of the cost.
All of the Homearama furniture and accessories are for sale throughout the entire show. That means you too can take a piece of Homearama home with you if you see furniture or accessories you would like to purchase.
“We couldn’t have a successful Homearama without the participation of our furniture companies,” said Homearama Chairman Stephen Quick, with Stephen Alexander Homes. “Under the direction of our professional designers, it’s the furniture that transforms these houses into homes.
Furniture will be available from the following companies: Ashley Furniture HomeStore; Decorum; Dillard’s at MacArthur Center; Exotic Home; Heritage Amish Furniture; La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery; Kirkland’s at MacArthur Center; Mark Gonsenhauser’s Rug & Carpet Superstore; Steinmart; Schewel Furniture Co. Inc., The Ark Outlet and Value City Furniture.
Inside the homes is a listing of the available furniture and accessories. Simply ask the host or real estate agent in the house for the listing. If you decide you would like to purchase an item from the house, enter your name and phone number on the accompanying sheet and either a furniture representative or the home’s interior designer will contact you for payment information. The items must be picked up the day of the furniture sale. Any remaining items not purchased during the show will be put up for sale during the Homearama Furniture Sale, from noon to 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, at the site. The items are marked at a discounted price and are sold on site. Any items purchased during the sale must also be removed from the site that day. Show sponsor Harrison’s Moving & Storage will be on site to offer discounted delivery rates for guests who need their furniture delivered.
