Builder highlight:
After a four-year absence, veteran builder Charlie Anderson of Charlie Anderson General Contractor Building Inc. is returning for his 14th Homearama. Charlie has built homes in every Homearama from 1986 until 1996, and in 2000, 2006 and 2007. In 1990 and 2006 he built the Homearama Charity Houses, which benefited Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters. During this time, Charlie accumulated an impressive array of awards, including Best Deck, Best Outdoor Living Area and the coveted TBA Past Presidents’ Favorite Home award.

Charlie began his building career in high school via woodworking and furniture making. These days, this self-taught builder remains busy by offering a unique home for each buyer. Charlie draws his own plans, making sure to combine a beautiful, detailed home with the functionality today’s family requires. Through his 38-year career, Charlie has constructed more than 300 homes solely off referrals, which speaks well of his strong reputation.
