With more than 30 years experience in home building and countless Critics' Choice and People's Choice awards to his name, veteran builder John W. "Chip" Iuliano returns for his 20th Homearama.
With a strong reputation for building homes of superior quality, Iuliano has been building in Homearama since 1992, has chaired the event in 1998 and 1999 and has built in more Homearamas and won more awards than any other builder in Hampton Roads. He was also president of Tidewater Builders Association in 2004.

Veteran Homearama builder Bill Brice, owner of WATAB Construction, and Home Theaters by DAS owner Les Ore joined forces to create Bill Ore LLC, which offers new technology and design with classic traditional home construction. This collaboration sprung forth the creation of the 2009 Homearama home, The Elderberry: A Christmas Tradition, which took home several awards, including the Hampton Roads Realtors Association Award for Most Livable Home.
Brice has been in the building industry for more than 30 years and was one of the original Homearama builders. Ore, has worked with TBA affiliated members providing audio, video, security and structured wiring services through Home Theaters by DAS.

Larry Hill has been building award-winning Homearama homes since 1988, taking a People’s Choice Best in Show Award for 10 years. His homes have also garnered a variety of Critics’ Choice awards, including best craftsmanship for the past eight years.
Since forming his company in 1984, Larry, who has a degree in mechanical engineering from Old Dominion University, has provided his clients with top-quality homes. He prides himself on the close personal supervision he gives each project.
This philosophy was a contributing factor toward his winning the 1993 Virginia Beach Small Business of the Year award, as well as being named “Best Builder at the Beach” by The Virginian-Pilot in 1999 and “Best of Chesapeake” in 2005.
An active member of TBA for many years, Larry was president of the association in 1998. Larry also is on the TowneBank’s Board of Directors.
North Shore Construction

Chris Kanter, a Norfolk native and graduate of The Virginia Military Institute, has been involved in real estate development industry for most of his professional life. He opened North Shore Construction Co. in 1996 with his wife, Amy.
Theirs is a relationship-driven company, and they are involved with all aspects of the design and construction process. As North Shore Construction has grown, they continue to maintain a personal relationship that makes the home building process smooth and enjoyable.
Focusing on quality verses quantity, North Shore builds a selected few homes each year, allowing Kanter to maintain personal supervision of construction and stay connected to each client throughout the building process. The majority of Kanter's homes are in Norfolk, where he was raised and currently resides.
This marks the second Homearama for Kanter, who is also a member of the East Beach Guild.

Veteran Homearama builder Jimmy Richardson, owner of Richardson Homes Inc., and Viridian Homes' owner Edward Hewitt joined forces for bring homebuilders a salute to the armed forces.
Jimmy Richardson, a Hampton Roads resident for 35 years, has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry. This is the second Homearama for Richardson, who has designed and built homes in many of the local communities.
Edward Hewitt has been in the homebuilding arena for five years, having co-founded Oceanside Building LLC. In an effort to focus on building custom homes with eco-friendly inspired features, Hewitt recently founded Viridian Homes. This is the first Homearama for Hewitt, a former Marine with a bachelor of science business administration from Old Dominion University.
Together, Richardson and Hewitt approach their homes quality craftsmanship and personalized service. Highly motivated, they take pride in providing client's dream homes on time and within budget. When building a home, Richardson and Hewitt maintain solid communications with the buyers throughout the entire process and ensures quality service and work.
