Saturday, May 8, 2-4 p.m. Lewis MeGehee Local favorite Lewis McGehee will give an acoustic concert, hosted by BOB-FM. Swing by and enjoy goodies from Baker's Crust, as well as a chance to win prizes.
Tuesday, May 11, 6-8 p.m. Wine tasting by Bon Vivant Taste your way through a rosé wine education courtesy of Smithfield's Bon Vivant Market. Wine shop owner Mike Adams will talk to guests about rosé wines at the Nature Watch house by Hohmann Builder.
Wednesday, May 12, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Realtors Day Area real estate agents who bring a business card and valid ID can enjoy the eight custom showcase homes for free. Early birds can even enjoy a hearty breakfast from 9:30-11 a.m. sponsored by Towne Bank.
Saturday, May 15, 1 p.m. -2 p.m. Taking care of your feathered friends Gregory Millslagle of Wild Birds Umlimited, Yorktown, will be presenting the do's and don'ts on caring for neighboring birds at the Nature Watch by Hohmann Builder.
Saturday, May 15, 1-3 p.m. Boys and Girls Fest The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia will host a festival featuring face painting and other children's activities at The Charity House by Simply Custom by Sasser Construction.
Saturday, May 15, 6 p.m. -8 p.m. Meet the artist Members of The Isle of Wight Arts League will display and sell their work in the garage of The Artist’s House by Birdsong Builders. Additionally, 10 percent of proceeds from the artwork sold will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia.
Saturday, May 15, 2-4 and 5-7 p.m. Ask the landscape experts Tired of being stumped by your landscaping? Let the Hampton Roads Nursery and Landscape Association help solve your gardening woes at the "Ask the Expert" booth at The Garden House by Sadler Building Corp.
Monday, May 17, 6-8 p.m. WGH-FM Listener Appreciation Concert
Get hooked on Dave Cynar at this acoustic concert. Cynar won the Colgate Country Showdown, a nationwide talent competition that's sponsored locally by The Eagle 97.3 radio station. The Chesapeake crooner will be performing his new country originals, as well as some country classics.
Monday, May 17, 6-8 p.m. A Taste of Isle of Wight County
Guests will taste sample cuisine from eight Isle of Wight County area eateries, courtesy of Columbia Gas of Virginia and Hampton Roads Magazine, while touring the showcase homes. Participating chefs are from AJ Gators, Bubba-N-Frank's, Cedar Pointe Country Club, C.W. Cowlings, Lisa's Sweet Shoppe, Smithfield Gourmet Bakery and Cafe, Smithfield Station and Vintage Tavern. When finished sampling the cuisines, guests have the opportunity to vote for their favorite.

Friday, May 21, 2 p.m. and Saturday, May 22, 2 and 5 p.m. Housing trends seminar Brent Warren, manager of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program, has a front-row seat to trends in new-home designs. He'll present seminars on the latest in home designs at The Garden House by Sadler Building Corp..
Monday, May 24, noon-6 p.m. The Homearama Furniture Sale Visitors will get the chance to purchase and take home their favorite furnishings and décor from the Homearama homes. Free entry tickets for the sale will be given to all Homearama visitors in their show bag during the event.
